How Happy Hearts works

How Happy Hearts Works

A blood pressure monitor that works the moment you open the box, an app that explains your numbers in plain language, and support between your regular doctor visits. Here is exactly what happens, step by step.

What do I get when I join?

Three plain parts.
Nothing complicated.

Happy Hearts is a heart health service. When you join, everything ships to your home. There are three parts, and each one is built to be simple.

A blood pressure monitor
It works the moment you open the box. Place it on your upper arm, press the button, and your reading appears in seconds.
The Happy Hearts app
Your readings in plain language. It explains what your numbers mean and what is worth mentioning to your doctor. You download it if you would like to use it.
Support between doctor visits
Help for the time between your regular appointments. Your own doctor stays in charge. We support what they are already doing.
No cost to you if you qualify through Original Medicare
Does the monitor need Wi-Fi or a complicated setup?

One button for a reading.
One step to connect the app.

The blood pressure monitor works on its own, straight out of the box. Press one button and your reading appears. Then a one-time Bluetooth connection links it to the app, with no Wi-Fi, no passwords, no typing. After that, readings sync automatically.

  1. 01

    Open the box

Your monitor is charged and ready. Before your first reading, the app walks you through a one-time Bluetooth connection: a few taps, no Wi-Fi, no passwords. After that, every reading syncs automatically.

  2. 02

Put the cuff on your arm

Slide the cuff onto your upper arm, the way a nurse would. The plain-language guide in the box shows you how, with large print and pictures.

  3. 03

    Press the button

Press one button. Your reading appears on the screen in seconds. It syncs to the app automatically, with no typing and no paper log. The app explains what your numbers mean and keeps your history in one place.

How does the app explain my numbers?

Your numbers, in
plain language

The app is optional. If you use it, it lays your readings out clearly, in plain English. It is not a diagnosis. Tracking your numbers can help you and your doctor spot patterns and talk about them.

See each reading clearly

Your latest number, shown in large, plain type. No charts you need a manual to read. Just what your blood pressure was, and when.

Understand what it means

The app explains your reading in everyday words, and points out what may be worth mentioning at your next visit. It does not diagnose. It helps you know what to ask.

Share it when you choose

When you want to, share a summary with your own doctor or a family member. Your readings stay yours. You decide who sees them and when.

You stay in control
Can I share my readings with my doctor?

Your own doctor stays in charge

Yes. You can share a summary of your readings with your own doctor whenever you like, for example before an appointment. They see how your blood pressure moves over time, not just a single office reading. Happy Hearts does not replace your doctor. We support what they are already doing.

What is the ACCESS Model that Happy Hearts takes part in?

Happy Hearts takes part in a Medicare program called the ACCESS Model. That is why you may hear about it through Medicare. You can read more about how Happy Hearts works with your own care, or check that we are real for yourself.
